Welcome to Appliancycle.com. These Terms of Service govern your use of the Appliancycle.com website and your submission of used-appliance pickup requests in North Carolina.
By using our website or submitting a pickup request, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to these Terms of Service.
1. About Appliancycle.com
Appliancycle.com provides free pickup of certain used household appliances, subject to service-area limitations, appliance eligibility, scheduling, and availability.

2. Pickup Requests Are Not Guaranteed
Submitting a pickup request through Appliancycle.com does not guarantee that we will accept the request or collect the appliance.
All requests are subject to review, service-area eligibility, appliance type and condition, access to the pickup location, scheduling, and operational availability.
A pickup is not confirmed until Appliancycle.com expressly confirms it with you. We reserve the right to decline, postpone, or cancel a request when reasonably necessary.
3. Free Pickup Service
Appliancycle.com currently offers eligible appliance pickups at no charge to the customer. No payment is required for an accepted standard pickup unless a separate charge is clearly disclosed and agreed to in advance.
Free pickup does not guarantee acceptance of every appliance, removal from every location, or availability on a requested date. We will not charge for an unapproved service or additional fee without obtaining your agreement.
4. Eligible Appliances and Service Area
Customers must select an appliance type from the options provided on our website. Current listed options include:
- Washer
- Dryer
- Oven or range
- Dishwasher
- Other, subject to review and approval
Appliancycle.com may decline an appliance that falls outside its accepted categories or that cannot reasonably be collected.
Our service area is intended to cover eligible communities within approximately 60 miles of Cary, North Carolina. Submitting a request from a listed town or nearby location does not guarantee service availability. Appliancycle.com will determine whether a particular address is eligible before confirming a pickup.
5. Customer Responsibilities
By submitting a request, you represent that:
- You are at least 18 years old.
- You own the appliance or have permission from its owner to arrange its removal.
- You are authorized to allow the appliance to be collected from the property.
- The information you submit is accurate and complete.
- You will disclose relevant conditions that may affect safe access or removal.
You agree to provide a working email address so Appliancycle.com can contact you about your request.
6. Appliance Condition, Access, and Safety
Customers must accurately describe the appliance and its condition and provide a current photograph when required by the website form.
Before a scheduled pickup, customers must disclose known hazards, unusual access conditions, and circumstances that could make collection unsafe or impractical.
Unless otherwise agreed in advance, appliances must be accessible at the agreed pickup location. Appliancycle.com is not required to disconnect utilities, perform plumbing or electrical work, dismantle appliances, move unrelated property, or carry out work beyond the agreed pickup.
Appliancycle.com may refuse or stop a pickup if conditions are unsafe, access is inadequate, the appliance differs materially from the description, or removal would require unapproved work.
Customers should not disconnect gas, electrical, water, or other utility connections unless they are qualified and legally permitted to do so. Any required disconnection should be completed safely before pickup.
7. Photographs and Submitted Information
Photographs and other information submitted through the website must relate to the pickup request and must not contain unlawful, threatening, or otherwise inappropriate content.
You represent that you have the right to submit any photographs you upload. Please avoid including people, identification documents, financial information, or other unnecessary personal information in photographs.
You grant Appliancycle.com permission to use the submitted information and photographs as reasonably necessary to evaluate, coordinate, document, and complete your pickup request, respond to inquiries, and maintain appropriate business records.
Personal information will be handled in accordance with our separate Privacy Policy, which should be made available on the website.
8. Cancellations and Changes
Please contact Appliancycle.com by email as soon as possible if you need to cancel a request, change the pickup address, correct submitted information, or update the appliance details.
Appliancycle.com may reschedule or cancel a pickup when circumstances change, including weather, safety concerns, vehicle or staffing availability, inaccurate information, or access problems. We will make reasonable efforts to communicate material changes.
9. Appliance Acceptance and Subsequent Handling
Appliancycle.com determines whether an appliance is suitable for collection and may decline an item before taking possession of it.
After collection, the appliance may be reused, refurbished, recycled, or otherwise handled through lawful channels, as appropriate. Appliancycle.com does not guarantee that an appliance will be repaired, resold, donated, or recycled in a particular manner.
Customers should remove personal belongings from appliances before collection. Customers are responsible for backing up, removing, or otherwise protecting any personal data stored in an appliance before pickup.
10. Website Use
You agree not to misuse the Appliancycle.com website, submit knowingly false information, upload malicious files, interfere with website operations, or use the website for unlawful purposes.
Appliancycle.com may modify website content, request forms, accepted appliance categories, or service availability as operations evolve.
11. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
Appliancycle.com provides pickup services subject to the conditions described in these Terms of Service. We do not guarantee uninterrupted website availability, acceptance of a request, or a particular pickup date unless expressly confirmed.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Appliancycle.com is not responsible for delays or failures caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
Nothing in these Terms of Service excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by law, including liability that cannot lawfully be waived. These terms do not eliminate any rights or remedies available to customers under applicable North Carolina law.
12. Indemnification
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to be responsible for losses arising from your intentional misrepresentation, your lack of authority to arrange removal of an appliance, or your material breach of these Terms of Service.
This section does not require you to indemnify Appliancycle.com for its own negligence, misconduct, or other liability where such an obligation is prohibited by law.
13. Privacy
Submitting a pickup request may involve personal information, including contact details, pickup location, appliance information, and photographs.
Please review the separate Privacy Policy on Appliancycle.com for information about how personal information is collected, used, stored, and shared. These Terms of Service do not replace the Privacy Policy.
14. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Any dispute will be handled in a court of competent jurisdiction as permitted by applicable law. Nothing in this section prevents a customer from exercising rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be waived.
15. Changes to These Terms
Appliancycle.com may update these Terms of Service from time to time. The revised version will be posted on the website with an updated revision date.
Changes will apply prospectively to the extent required by law. Where required, Appliancycle.com will obtain renewed agreement or provide additional notice.
